حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ ذَكَرُوا عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ كَانَ وَصِيًّا. فَقَالَتْ مَتَى أَوْصَى إِلَيْهِ وَقَدْ كُنْتُ مُسْنِدَتَهُ إِلَى صَدْرِي ـ أَوْ قَالَتْ حَجْرِي ـ فَدَعَا بِالطَّسْتِ، فَلَقَدِ انْخَنَثَ فِي حَجْرِي، فَمَا شَعَرْتُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ، فَمَتَى أَوْصَى إِلَيْهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Amr bin Zurara narrated to us, Isma'il informed us, from Ibn Awn, from Ibrahim (upon him be mercy), from Aswad (upon him be mercy), he said: It was mentioned in the presence of Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) that Hadrat Ali al-Murtada (may Allah ennoble his countenance) was the executor of the will of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). She said: When did he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) make a bequest to him? I was supporting him (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) against my chest — or she said, in my lap — then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked for a basin, and he placed his blessed head in my lap, and I did not even realize that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had passed away. So when did he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) make a bequest to him?
اردو ترجمہ
ہم سے عمرو بن زرارہ نے بیان کیا، ہمیں اسماعیل نے خبر دی، ابن عون سے، ابراہیم رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے، اسود رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے، انہوں نے فرمایا: حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے سامنے ذکر کیا گیا کہ حضرت علی المرتضیٰ کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم (نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے) وصی تھے۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں وصیت کب فرمائی؟ حالانکہ میں آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اپنے سینے سے (یا فرمایا: اپنی گود میں) ٹیک لگائے ہوئی تھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے طشت منگوایا اور میری گود میں آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سر مبارک رکھ دیا، اور مجھے خبر بھی نہ ہوئی کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا وصال ہو گیا ہے، تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں کب وصیت فرمائی؟
