It is narrated by Hadrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be well pleased with him) that I was with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw the mountain of Uhud, he stated: 'I would not like this mountain to be turned into gold for me and for a single dinar of it to remain with me for more than three days, except a dinar that I would reserve for the repayment of a debt.' Then he stated: 'Indeed, those who possess much (in this world) will have the least (in the Hereafter), except those who spend their wealth thus and thus (in the path of Allah)' — and Abu Shihab gestured in front, to the right, and to the left — 'but such people are few.' Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Stay in your place.' He went a short distance ahead. I heard a sound and wanted to go to him, but I recalled his instruction: Stay in your place until I come to you. When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) returned, I submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! I heard a sound.' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Did you hear it?' I submitted: 'Yes.' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Jibril (upon him be peace) came to me and said: Whoever from your Ummah dies without associating anything with Allah the Exalted will enter Paradise.' I submitted: 'Even if he committed such and such (sins)?' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Yes.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھا۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے احد پہاڑ کو دیکھا تو ارشاد فرمایا: میں پسند نہیں کرتا کہ یہ پہاڑ میرے لیے سونا بن جائے اور اس میں سے ایک دینار بھی میرے پاس تین دن سے زیادہ باقی رہے، سوائے اس دینار کے جو میں کسی قرض کی ادائیگی کے لیے رکھ لوں۔ پھر ارشاد فرمایا: بے شک (دنیا میں) زیادہ مال والے ہی (آخرت میں) سب سے کم ہوں گے، سوائے ان کے جو اپنے مال کو یوں اور یوں (اللہ کی راہ میں) خرچ کریں — اور ابوشہاب نے اپنے آگے، دائیں اور بائیں طرف اشارہ کیا — لیکن ایسے لوگ بہت کم ہیں۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اپنی جگہ ٹھہرے رہو۔ اور آپ تھوڑی دور آگے تشریف لے گئے۔ مجھے کچھ آواز سنائی دی اور میں نے چاہا کہ آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو جاؤں، لیکن آپ کا یہ ارشاد یاد آیا: اپنی جگہ ٹھہرے رہو یہاں تک کہ میں تمہارے پاس آ جاؤں۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم واپس تشریف لائے تو میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مجھے کچھ آواز سنائی دی تھی — یا (راوی نے بیان کیا:) جو آواز میں نے سنی تھی (وہ کیا تھی)؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کیا تم نے سنا؟ میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: میرے پاس جبرائیل علیہ السلام آئے تھے اور انہوں نے فرمایا: تمہاری امت کا جو شخص بھی اس حال میں وفات پائے کہ وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراتا ہو، وہ جنت میں داخل ہوگا۔ میں نے عرض کیا: اگرچہ اس نے فلاں فلاں (گناہ) کیے ہوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہاں۔
