حدثنا الفضل بن سهل قالَ حَدَّثَنا عبد الرحمن بن غزوان قالَ حَدَّثَنا الليث بن سعد عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عروة عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت جاء رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسلم فجلس بَيْنَ يَدَيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسلم إن لي مملوكين يخونوني ويكذبوني ويعصوني فأسبهم وأضربهم فأين أنا منهم قال ينظر في عقابك وذنوبهم فإن كان عقابك دون ذنوبهم كان لك الفضل وإن كان عقابك مثل ذنوبهم سواء فلا لك ولا عليك وإن كان عقابك أشد من ذنوبهم اقتص لهم منك يوم القيامة فجعل الرجل يهتف ويبكي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فقال ما لك أما تقرأ كتاب الله ونضع الموازين القسط ليوم القيمة فقال الرجل يا رسول الله فهم أحراروَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَنْ الليث إلا عبد الرحمن بن غزوان عن الليث عن مالك ولم يتابع حدثنا أحمد قال
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated: A man from among the Companions of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came and sat before the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He said: O Messenger of Allah, I have slaves who deceive me, lie to me, and disobey me, so I curse them and strike them. Where do I stand with them? He stated: «Your punishment and their sins will be examined. If your punishment is less than their sins, then you will have virtue. If your punishment is equal to their sins, then it is neither for you nor against you. If your punishment is more severe than their sins, then retribution will be taken from you for them on the Day of Resurrection.» The man began to cry and wail before the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He stated: «Why is this? Do you not recite the Book of Allah: 'And We shall set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection'?» The man said: O Messenger of Allah, then they are free. This hadith is not known to have been narrated from al-Layth except by Abd ar-Rahman ibn Ghazwan from al-Layth from Malik, and he was not followed. Ahmad narrated to us saying:
