Ali ibn Sa'id al-Masruqi narrated to us, Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulaiman narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn Amr narrated to us, from Ata', from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «I hear the crying of a child while I am in prayer, so I make it brief, fearing that his mother may be distressed.» We did not hear this hadith except from Ali ibn Sa'id, from Abd al-Rahim, from al-Hasan ibn Amr, from Ata', from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him). This hadith is known only from the hadith of Talhah ibn Amr, from Ata', from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him).
