Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us from al-A'mash from Abu Hazim from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «When Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibril and says: I love so-and-so, so love him. So Jibril loves him, and then he calls out among the inhabitants of the heavens: Indeed Allah loves so-and-so, so love him. So the inhabitants of the heavens love him. Then acceptance is placed for him on the earth. And when Allah detests a servant, He calls Jibril and says: I detest so-and-so, so detest him. So Jibril detests him, and then he calls out among the inhabitants of the heavens: Indeed Allah detests so-and-so, so detest him. Then aversion is placed for him on the earth.»
