حَدَّثنا عُبَيد بن أسباط بن مُحَمد قَال حَدَّثنا أبي قَال حَدَّثنا هشام بن سَعْد عَن سَعِيد بن أبي هلال عَن ابن أبي ذباب عَن أبي هُرَيرة قال مر رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بشعب من ماء فأعجبه طيبه فقال لو اعتزلت الناس وأقمت في هذا الشعب ولن أفعل حتى أستأذن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا تفعل فإن مقام أحدكم في سبيل الله خير له من مقامه في بيته ستين عاما أو كذا عاما من قاتل في سبيل فواق نافة وجبت له الجنة ماء فأعجبه طيبه فقال لو اعتزلت الناس وأقمت في هذا الشعب ولن أفعل حتى أستأذن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا تفعل فإن مقام أحدكم في سبيل الله خير له من مقامه في بيته ستين عاما أو كذا عاما من قاتل في سبيل فواق نافة وجبت له الجنة
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ubaid ibn Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us saying: My father narrated to us saying: Hisham ibn Sa'd narrated to us from Said ibn Abi Hilal from Ibn Abi Dhubab from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: A man from among the Companions of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by a valley of water and was pleased by its purity. He said: 'If only I could withdraw from people and stay in this valley, but I will not do so until I seek permission from the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).' He mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «Do not do it, for indeed one of you standing in the path of Allah is better for him than staying in his house for sixty years or so many years. Whoever fights in the path of Allah for the time it takes a she-camel to return, Paradise is made obligatory for him.»
