حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الوهاب قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَمْرو عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وقف عام الفتح بالحجون فقال والله إنك لأخير أرض الله وأحب أرض الله إلى الله ولولاَ أني أخرجت منك ما خرجت وإنها لم تحل لأحد كان قبلي ولاَ تحل لأحد بعدي وَإنَّما أحلت لي ساعة من نهار ثُمَّ هي حرام ساعتي هذه لا يعضد شجرها ولاَ يحتش كلأها ولاَ تلتقط ضالتها إلاَّ لمنشد قال فقال رجل قال وزعم الناس أنه عباس يا رَسولَ اللهِ إلاَّ الإذخر فإنه لبيوتنا ولقبورنا ولعيوننا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ الإذخر وقف عام الفتح بالحجون فقال والله إنك لأخير أرض الله وأحب أرض الله إلى الله ولولاَ أني أخرجت منك ما خرجت وإنها لم تحل لأحد كان قبلي ولاَ تحل لأحد بعدي وَإنَّما أحلت لي ساعة من نهار ثُمَّ هي حرام ساعتي هذه لا يعضد شجرها ولاَ يحتش كلأها ولاَ تلتقط ضالتها إلاَّ لمنشد قال فقال رجل قال وزعم الناس أنه عباس يا رَسولَ اللهِ إلاَّ الإذخر فإنه لبيوتنا ولقبورنا ولعيوننا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ الإذخر
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to me, from Abu Salamah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stopped in the year of the Conquest at al-Hajun and said: «By Allah, you are the best of Allah's land and the most beloved of Allah's land to Allah. Were it not that I was expelled from you, I would never have left. It has never been made lawful for anyone before me, nor will it be made lawful for anyone after me. It was only made lawful for me for an hour of a day. Then it is sacred at this very hour of mine: its trees are not to be cut, its grass is not to be picked, and its lost property is not to be taken except by one who will announce it.» A man said — and the people claimed he was Abbas — "O Messenger of Allah, except for the idhkhir (a fragrant plant), for it is for our houses, our graves, and our implements." The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Except for the idhkhir.»
