حَدَّثنا عَبد اللَّهِ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَغدَادِيُّ قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بُنْ كَثِيرٍ الْمُلائِيُّ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَن مُجاهد عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ صَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ يَوْمًا إِلَى اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ صَامَ إِلَى الْعَصْرِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ الصَّوْمَ قَدْ جَهِدَ النَّاسَ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَشَرِبَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ يَوْمًا إِلَى اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ صَامَ إِلَى الْعَصْرِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ الصَّوْمَ قَدْ جَهِدَ النَّاسَ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَشَرِبَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Ayyub al-Baghdadi narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Kathir al-Mula'i narrated to us, from Muslim, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasted in the month of Ramadan one day until nightfall. When the next day came, he fasted until Asr, then it was said to him: 'The fasting has exhausted the people.' So he called for water and drank.
