حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عُثمَان قَال حَدَّثنا عُبَيد اللَّهِ عَن سُفيان عَن أَبِي الزُّبَير عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بِالْمَدِينَةِ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي غَيْرِ خَوْفٍ ولاَ مَطَرٍ قُلْتُ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ لأَيِّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ لِكَيْ لا يُحْرِجَ أُمَّتَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بِالْمَدِينَةِ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي غَيْرِ خَوْفٍ ولاَ مَطَرٍ قُلْتُ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ لأَيِّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ لِكَيْ لا يُحْرِجَ أُمَّتَهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Uthman narrated to us, he said: Ubayd Allah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) combined Dhuhr and Asr in Madinah without any fear or rain. I said to Ibn Abbas: 'Why did he do that?' He said: 'So that he would not cause hardship to his ummah.'
