حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عُثمَان بن كرامة قَال حَدَّثنا عُبَيد الله بن موسى قَال حَدَّثنا فِطْرٌ عَن أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ قَوْمَكَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَدْ رَمَلَ وَأَنَّهَا سُنَّةٌ فَقَالَ كَذَبُوا وَصَدَقُوا قَدْ رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَلَيْسَتْ سُنَّةً قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ عَلَى جَبَلِ قُعَيْقِعَانَ فَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ هَزْلا فَرَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ لِيَرْمُلُوا لِيَرَى الْمُشْرِكُونَ أَنَّ بِهِمْ قُوَّةً قَدْ رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَلَيْسَتْ سُنَّةً قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ عَلَى جَبَلِ قُعَيْقِعَانَ فَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ هَزْلا فَرَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ لِيَرْمُلُوا لِيَرَى الْمُشْرِكُونَ أَنَّ بِهِمْ قُوَّةً
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu al-Tufayl: I said to Ibn 'Abbas: 'Your people claim that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ramal (brisk walking during tawaf) and that it is a sunnah.' He said: 'They spoke both falsely and truly. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did perform ramal, but it is not a sunnah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and the polytheists were on the mountain of Qu'ayqi'an. It reached him that they were saying: "The Messenger of Allah and his Companions are weak." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walked briskly and ordered his Companions to walk briskly so the polytheists would see that they had strength.'
