حَدَّثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبد اللَّهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَال حَدَّثنا صلة بن سليمان قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو هانيء أَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبد اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثني حَمْزَةُ أَبُو عُمَر وَرَجُلٌ آخَرُ قَالا بَلَغَنَا عَن ابْنِ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر حَدِيثٌ فَلَقِينَاهُ بِوَاسِطَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ مَا حَدِيثٌ بَلَغَنَا عَنْكَ قَالَ حَدَّثني أَبِي قَالَ شَهِدْتُ رَجُلا وَجَاءَ بِرَجُلٍ يُقَادُ فِي نِسْعَةٍ قَدْ قَتَلَ رَجُلا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لِوَلِيِّ الْمَقْتُولِ أَتَعْفُو قَالَ لا قَالَ أَتَأْخُذُ الدِّيَةِ قَالَلا قَالَ فَتَقْتُلُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ بِهِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ غَيْرُ بَعِيدٍ دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ أَتَعْفُو قَالَ لا قَالَ أَتَأْخُذُ الدِّيَةِ قَالَ لا قَالَ تَقْتُلُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَذَهَبَ بِهِ حَتَّى فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِنْ قَتَلَهُ فَهُوَ مِثْلُهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو هُرَيرة نَحْوَهُ بِغَيْرِ لَفْظِهِ وَحَمْزَةُ أَبُو عُمَر رَجُلٌ رَوَى عَنْهُ عَوْفٌ وَأَشْعَثُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ بِوَاسِطَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ مَا حَدِيثٌ بَلَغَنَا عَنْكَ قَالَ حَدَّثني أَبِي قَالَ شَهِدْتُ رَجُلا وَجَاءَ بِرَجُلٍ يُقَادُ فِي نِسْعَةٍ قَدْ قَتَلَ رَجُلا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لِوَلِيِّ الْمَقْتُولِ أَتَعْفُو قَالَ لا قَالَ أَتَأْخُذُ الدِّيَةِ قَالَلا قَالَ فَتَقْتُلُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ بِهِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ غَيْرُ بَعِيدٍ دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ أَتَعْفُو قَالَ لا قَالَ أَتَأْخُذُ الدِّيَةِ قَالَ لا قَالَ تَقْتُلُهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَذَهَبَ بِهِ حَتَّى فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِنْ قَتَلَهُ فَهُوَ مِثْلُهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو هُرَيرة نَحْوَهُ بِغَيْرِ لَفْظِهِ وَحَمْزَةُ أَبُو عُمَر رَجُلٌ رَوَى عَنْهُ عَوْفٌ وَأَشْعَثُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad ibn Abdullah al-Wasiti narrated to us, he said: Sila ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Abu Hani' Ash'ath ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Hamza Abu Umar and another man narrated to me, they said: We heard of a hadith from the son of Wa'il ibn Hujr, so we met him in Wasit in a gathering and said to him: "What is the hadith that reached us from you?" He said: "My father narrated to me, he said: I witnessed a man who brought another man being led by a strap, having killed a man. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the guardian of the slain: 'Will you pardon?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Will you accept the blood-money?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Will you kill him?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Go.' He went with him, and when they had gone a short distance, he called him back and said: 'Will you pardon?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Will you accept the blood-money?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Will you kill him?' He said: 'Yes.' He went with him, and he did this several times. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'If he kills him, he is like him.'" This hadith, we do not know it to be narrated with this wording except from Wa'il ibn Hujr. Abu Hurayra narrated something similar with different wording. Hamza Abu Umar is a man from whom Awf and Ash'ath narrated this hadith.
