حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَوْلَى آلِ مَنْظُورٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَانْقَطَعَ شِسْعُهُ فَأَخَذْتُ نَعْلَهُ لِأُصْلِحَهَا فَأَخَذَهَا مِنْ يَدِي وَقَالَ إِنَّهَا أَثَرَةٌ وَلَا أُحِبُّ الْأَثَرَةَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَانْقَطَعَ شِسْعُهُ فَأَخَذْتُ نَعْلَهُ لِأُصْلِحَهَا فَأَخَذَهَا مِنْ يَدِي وَقَالَ إِنَّهَا أَثَرَةٌ وَلَا أُحِبُّ الْأَثَرَةَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad ibn 'Abdah narrated to us, he said: 'Umar ibn 'Ali narrated to us, he said: 'Umar ibn 'Abdullah, the freed slave of the family of Manzur, narrated to me, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amir ibn Rabi'ah, from his father, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: I went out with the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, to the mosque, and the strap of his sandal broke. I took his sandal to fix it, but he took it from my hand and said: "This is preferential treatment, and I do not like preferential treatment."
