حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ نَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ نَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ زِيَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّ بَيْنِيَ وَبَيْنَ أَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ حِجَابًا مِنْ شِدَّةِ مَا كَانُوا يُجَادِلُونَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّ بَيْنِيَ وَبَيْنَ أَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ حِجَابًا مِنْ شِدَّةِ مَا كَانُوا يُجَادِلُونَهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Aswad narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Sulayman ibn Ziyad, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith ibn Jaz', may Allah be well pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "I wish there were a barrier between me and the people of Najran" — due to the intensity with which they used to argue with him.
