حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَشِيُّ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الصَّرَّافِ عَنِ ابْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْأَنْصَارُ مِحْنَةٌ لَا يُحِبُّهُمْ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَبْغَضُهُمْ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَقَدْ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ بَعْضُ كَلَامِهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ وَإِنَّمَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ عَنْ سَعْدٍ لِأَنَّ رِوَايَةَ سَعْدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَلِيلَةٌ وَفِيهِ حَرْفٌ لَمْ يَرْوِهِ أَحَدٌ فِيمَا حَفِظْنَا إِلَّا سَعْدٌ وَهُوَ الْأَنْصَارُ مِحْنَةٌ وَلَا يَبْغَضُهُمْ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَقَدْ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ بَعْضُ كَلَامِهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ وَإِنَّمَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ عَنْ سَعْدٍ لِأَنَّ رِوَايَةَ سَعْدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَلِيلَةٌ وَفِيهِ حَرْفٌ لَمْ يَرْوِهِ أَحَدٌ فِيمَا حَفِظْنَا إِلَّا سَعْدٌ وَهُوَ الْأَنْصَارُ مِحْنَةٌ

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Harashi narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Sarraf, from the son of Sa'd ibn Ubadah, from his father, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "The Ansar are a test - none loves them except a believer, and none hates them except a hypocrite." He said: This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated from the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, with this wording except through this route. Some of its wording has been narrated from the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, through other routes. We mentioned it from Sa'd because Sa'd's narrations from the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, are few. In it there is a word that no one narrated as far as we know except Sa'd, which is 'the Ansar are a test.'
