حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ وَأَزْهَرُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ أَنَّ مَوْلًى لَهُ اشْتَرَى خَمْرًا فَرَبِحَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُثْمَانُ ارْدُدْهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَحَرَّمَ ثَمَنَهَا قَالَ سَالِمٌ وَحَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بِمِثْلِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ فَقَدْ رُوِيَ نَحْوُ كَلَامِهِ عَنْ غَيْرِ عُثْمَانَ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ نَذْكُرُهُ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ بِلَفْظِهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Mirdas and Azhar ibn Jamil narrated to us, they said: Salim ibn Nuh informed us, he said: al-Jurayri informed us, from Abu al-'Ala', from 'Uthman ibn Abi al-'As, that a freed slave of his purchased wine and made a profit from it. 'Uthman said to him: 'Return it, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited wine and declared its price unlawful.' Salim said: Yunus narrated to me from al-Hasan, from 'Uthman ibn Abi al-'As with the same meaning. We do not know of any route for this hadith from 'Uthman except what we have mentioned, though something similar in meaning has been narrated from others with different wording, which we will mention in its proper place with its wording, God willing.
