حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ كَجُنَّةِ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلْقِتَالِ أَوْ مِنَ الْقِتَالِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yahya ibn Khalaf Abu Salamah narrated to me, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi 'Adiyy informed us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Hind, from Mutarrif ibn Abdullah, from 'Uthman ibn Abi al-'As (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Fasting is a shield, like the shield of one of you for battle, or from battle.'
