وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ أنبأ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ مَطَرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَمُوتُ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ لَيْسَ مَعَهُمُ امْرَأَةٌ قَالَ تُرْمَسُ فِي ثِيَابِهَا وَيُذْكَرُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ تُيَمَّمُ بِالصَّعِيدِ وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ يُصَبُّ عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءُ مِنْ فَوْقِ الثِّيَابِ وَكَذَا قَالَ عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Anas ibn Malik narrated: 'The Prophet (peace be upon him) entered upon his son Ibrahim as he was breathing his last. The eyes of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) began shedding tears. Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf said: "Even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "O Ibn 'Awf, this is mercy." Then he said: "The eye sheds tears and the heart grieves, but we say only what pleases our Lord. O Ibrahim, we are grieved by your departure."'
