أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّكُمْ مَالُ وَارِثِهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مَالِهِ ؟ قَالُوا مَا مِنَّا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا مَالُهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مَالِ وَارِثِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا وَمَالُ وَارِثِهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ مَالِهِ مَالُكَ مَا قَدَّمْتَ وَمَالُ وَارِثِكَ مَا أَخَّرْتَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked: 'Which of you loves the wealth of his heir more than his own wealth?' They said: 'There is none among us except that his own wealth is dearer to him than the wealth of his heir.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Know that there is none among you except that the wealth of his heir is dearer to him than his own wealth. Your wealth is what you have sent ahead (in good deeds), and the wealth of your heir is what you have left behind.'
