أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَزَّانُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ قَالَتْ زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ عَلَى عَهْدِ عُمَرَ حَتَّى اصْطَفَقَتِ السُّرُرُ وَابْنُ عُمَرَ يُصَلِّي فَلَمْ يَدْرِ بِهَا وَلَمْ يُوَافِ��ْ أَحَدًا يُصَلِّي فَدَرَى بِهَا فَخَطَبَ عُمَرُ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ أَحْدَثْتُمْ لَقَدْ عَجِلْتُمْ قَالَتْ وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ لَئِنْ عَادَتْ لَأَخْرُجَنَّ مِنْ بَيْنِ ظَهْرَانَيْكُمْ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hazim al-Hafiz narrated to us... from Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd who said: The earth shook during the time of Umar until the beds rattled, while Ibn Umar was praying and did not notice it. He did not find anyone praying who noticed it. Umar addressed the people and said: 'You have brought this upon yourselves - you have been hasty.' She said: And I do not think he said anything except: 'If it happens again, I will certainly leave from among you.'
