أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي أنبأ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْمَاسَرْجِسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَ��ْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عِنْدَ كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ بِالنَّاسِ فَقَامَ فَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ كَمَا قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ كَمَا رَكَعَ صَنَعَ ذَلِكَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ فَصَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَمْ يَقْرَأْ بَيْنَ الرُّكُوعِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِهِ وَرُوِيَ خَمْسُ رُكُوعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَةٍ بِإِسْنَادٍ لَمْ يَحْتَجُّ بِمِثْلِهِ صَاحِبَا الصَّحِيحِ وَلَكِنْ

Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq al-Muzakki narrated to us... from Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed during a solar eclipse with the people. He stood, said the takbir, then recited, then bowed for as long as he recited, then raised for as long as he bowed. He did that four bowings before prostrating. Then he prostrated two prostrations. Then he stood for the second unit and did the same. He did not recite between the bowings. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla is not an authority to rely upon.
