أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ لِمَوْتِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللهِ وَإِلَى الصَّلَاةِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us among others... from Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari who said: The sun eclipsed on the day Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), died. The people said: 'The sun has eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The sun and the moon are two signs from among the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse for the death of anyone nor for their life. When you see that, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and to prayer.'
