أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحُوَيْرِثِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ وَهُوَ بِنَجْرَانَ عَجِّلِ الْأَضْحَى وَأَخِّرِ الْفِطْرَ وَذَكَّرِ النَّاسَ هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ وَقَدْ طَلَبْتُهُ فِي سَائِرِ الرِّوَايَاتِ بِكِتَابِهِ إِلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ فَلَمْ أَجِدْهُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq and others informed us... that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wrote to Amr ibn Hazm while he was in Najran: Hasten the Adha prayer and delay the Fitr prayer, and remind the people. This is mursal (disconnected), and I searched for it in other narrations of his letter to Amr ibn Hazm but did not find it. And Allah knows best.
