أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَأَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ يَبْدَأُ بِهِ الصَّلَاةُ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ فَيَقُومُ مُقَابِلَ النَّاسِ وَالنَّاسُ جُلُوسٌ عَلَى صُفُوفِهِمْ فَيَعِظُهُمْ وَيُوصِيهِمْ وَيَأْمُرُهُمْ فَإِنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَقْطَعَ بَعْثًا قَطَعَهُ أَوْ يَأْمُرَ بِشَيْءٍ أَمَرَ بِهِ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَلَمْ يَزَلِ النَّاسُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ حَتَّى خَرَجْتُ عَلَى مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَهُوَ أَمِيرُ الْمَدِينَةِ فِي أَضْحَى أَوْ فِطْرٍ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْنَا الْمُصَلَّى إِذَا مِنْبَرٌ مِنْ لَبِنٍ قَدْ بَنَاهُ كَثِيرُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ وَإِذَا مَرْوَانُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَرْتَقِيَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَجَبَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ فَجَبَذَنِي وَارْتَقَى فَاجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ فَخَطَبَ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ غَيَّرْتُمْ وَاللهِ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ إِنَّهُ قَدْ ذَهَبَ مَا تَعْلَمُهُ فَقُلْتُ مَا أَعْلَمُ وَاللهِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا لَا أَعْلَمُ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَجْلِسُونَ لَنَا بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَجَعَلْنَاهَا قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Iyad ibn Abdullah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to go out on the Day of al-Fitr and al-Adha to the prayer ground. The first thing he would begin with was the prayer, then he would turn to face the people while they sat in their rows. He would admonish them, advise them, and command them. If he wanted to dispatch an expedition, he would do so, or if he wanted to command something, he would command it, then he would depart. Abu Sa'id said: The people continued upon this until I went out with Marwan ibn al-Hakam while he was the governor of Madinah on an Adha or Fitr day. When we reached the prayer ground, there was a pulpit made of bricks built by Kathir ibn al-Salt. Marwan wanted to climb it before praying. I pulled his hand, and he pulled mine, then he climbed and delivered the sermon before the prayer. I said to him: You have changed it, by Allah. He said: O Abu Sa'id, what you knew is gone. I said: What I know, by Allah, is better than what I do not know.
