أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ ��للهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي نَصْرٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْمُوَجِّهِ ثنا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْعَبْدَوِيُّ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُبَيْلٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ لَمَّا دَنَوْتُ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَخْتُ رَاحِلَتِي وَحَلَلْتُ عَيْبَتِي فَلَبَسْتُ حُلَّتِي فَدَخَلْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَمَانِي النَّاسُ بِالْحَدَقِ فَقُلْتُ لِجَلِيسِي يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ هَلْ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ أَمْرِي شَيْئًا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ ذَكَرَكَ بِأَحْسَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَخْطُبُ إِذْ عَرَضَ لَهُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ سَيَدْخُلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَابِ أَوْ مِنْ هَذَا الْفَجِّ مِنْ خَيْرِ ذِي يَمَنٍ وَإِنَّ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ لَمَسْحَةُ مَلَكٍ فَحَمِدْتُ اللهَ عَلَى مَا أَبْلَانِي
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu 'Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from al-Fadl ibn Musa, from Yunus ibn Abi Ishaq, from al-Mughirah ibn Shubayl, from Jarir ibn 'Abdullah who said: 'When I approached Madinah, I made my camel kneel, untied my bag, put on my fine garments, and entered while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was delivering the sermon. He greeted me, and the people looked at me intently. I said to the person next to me: O 'Abdullah, did the Messenger of Allah mention anything about me? He said: Yes, he mentioned you in the best manner. While he was delivering the sermon, he said in the middle of his speech: A man from the best of the people of Yemen will enter upon you from this gate or this mountain pass, and upon his face is the mark of an angel. I praised Allah for what He had bestowed upon me.'
