انگریزی ترجمہ
This was narrated by al-Nufayli who read it to Ma'qil ibn Ubaydullah from al-Zuhri, and it is munqati' (disconnected). If it is authentic, what was meant by the aid of the twelve was the chieftains (nuqaba') whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent in his company or after them to Madinah to teach the Muslims the Quran and lead them in prayer. The number of Muslims who prayed with them is mentioned in the hadith of Ka'b ibn Malik, when Mus'ab established it with the support and guidance of As'ad ibn Zurarah.
