أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَتَّابٍ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ وَمِمَّنْ يُذْكَرُ أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ مِنْ مُهَاجِرَةِ أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ الْأُولَى ثُمَّ هَاجَرَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَذَكَرَهُمْ وَذَكَرَ فِيهِمْ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهَكَذَا ذَكَرَهُ سَائِرُ أَهْلِ الْمَغَازِي بِلَا اخْتِلَافٍ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيهِ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan in Baghdad informed us... Musa ibn Uqbah said: 'Among those mentioned as having come to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in Makkah from the first migration to Abyssinia, then migrated to Madinah,' and he mentioned them and mentioned among them Abdullah ibn Mas'ud. He said: 'He was among those who witnessed Badr with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' This is how all the scholars of military campaigns mentioned him, with no disagreement among them.
