أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ مَالِكٌ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ فِيمَا قَرَأَ عَلَى مَالِكٍ ح قَالَ وَثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ أَقَصُرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ نَعَمْ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى اثْنَتَيْنِ أُخْرَيَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ مِثْلَ سُجُودِهِ أَوْ أَطْوَلَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِهِمَ سَوَاءٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ الشَّافِعِيَّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ لَمْ يَقُلْ ابْنِ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Yusuf al-Asbahani dictated to us... from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) finished after two rak'ahs. Dhul-Yadayn said to him: Has the prayer been shortened or did you forget, O Messenger of Allah? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Is Dhul-Yadayn speaking the truth? The people said: Yes. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood and prayed two more rak'ahs, then gave the salutation, then said Allahu Akbar and prostrated like his normal prostration or longer, then raised his head, then said Allahu Akbar and prostrated like his normal prostration or longer, then raised his head. Their narrations have the same wording, except that al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, did not say 'ibn Abi Tamimah.'
