Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr narrated that Abu Talhah al-Ansari was praying in his garden when a bird flew around in it, going back and forth looking for a way out, and it impressed him. He followed it with his gaze for a while, then he returned to his prayer and found that he did not know how many rak'ahs he had prayed. He said: 'My property has caused me a trial.' So he went to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and mentioned to him the trial he experienced in his garden. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, it is a charity, so place it wherever you wish.'
