أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ ��ْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبِرْتِيُّ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُسْلِمٌ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ أنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّفَّاءُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ أنبأ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلَانِ كِلَاهُمَا خَيْرٌ مِنِّي إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَوْ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَلَا أَدْرِي مَنْ هُوَ أَنَّ أَحَدُهُمَا سَجَدَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَفِي اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ إِذَا قَرَأَ النَّجْمَ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ سَجَدَ وَإِذَا قَرَأَهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا وَصَلَ إِلَيْهَا قُرْآنًا سَجَدَ وَإِذَا لَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَيْهَا قُرْآنًا رَكَعَ وَكَانَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ؓ إِذَا قَرَأَهَا سَجَدَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَقْرَأُ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ أَوْ سُورَةٍ تُشْبِهُهَا قَالَ وَسَجَدَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَفِي حَدِيثِ الْبِرْتِيِّ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَوْ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Two men, both better than me - unless I think he said Abu Bakr, or Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them) - I do not know which one - told me that one of them prostrated in 'When the sky has split' (al-Inshiqaq) and in 'Read in the name of your Lord who created' (al-Alaq). And Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, when he recited an-Najm with the people, would prostrate; and when he recited it in prayer [he would also prostrate]. And Ibn Umar, when he connected it to Quran recitation, would prostrate, and when he did not connect it, he would bow. And Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), when he recited it, would prostrate and then stand and recite at-Tin or a similar surah. He said: And the Prophet (peace be upon him) prostrated in it.
