أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْإِيَادِيُّ الْمَالِكِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ السُّلَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمِقْدَامَ صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَقُولُ حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَشْيَاءَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ مِنْهَا الْحِمَارُ الْأَهْلِيُّ وَقَالَ يُوشِكُ الرَّجُلُ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ يُحَدِّثُ بِحَدِيثِي فَيَقُولُ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ كِتَابُ اللهِ فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهِ مِنْ حَلَالٍ أَحْلَلْنَاهُ وَمِنْ حَرَامٍ حَرَّمْنَاهُ أَلَا وَإِنَّ مَا حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ ﷻ ابْنُ جَابِرٍ هَذَا هُوَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ

Abu al-Qasim Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Ali al-Iyadi al-Maliki informed us in Baghdad, Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Salman ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Sulami narrated to us, Abu Salih narrated to us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih narrated to me, Ibn Jabir narrated to me that he heard al-Miqdam, the companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited certain things on the day of Khaybar, among them the domestic donkey. And he said: 'Soon there will be a man reclining on his couch, being told of my hadith, and he will say: Between us and you is the Book of Allah. Whatever we find in it of lawful, we make it lawful, and whatever is forbidden, we make it forbidden. Indeed, what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has forbidden is like what Allah the Almighty has forbidden.'" Ibn Jabir here is al-Hasan ibn Jabir.
