أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ أنبأ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ ؓ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَجُرُّ شَاةً لِيَذْبَحَهَا فَضَرَبَهُ بِالدِّرَّةِ وَقَالَ سُقْهَا لَا أُمَّ لَكَ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ سَوْقًا جَمِيلًا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Nasr ibn Qatadah informed us, Abu Amr ibn Nujayd informed us, Abu Muslim informed us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Hammad narrated to us, Ibn Awn narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Sirin that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a man dragging a sheep to slaughter it. He struck him with his whip and said: "Lead it to its death gently, you wretched one!"
