وَذَلِكَ فِيمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ؓ قَالَ أَعْطَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَنَمًا أَقْسِمُهَا ضَحَايَا بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِي فَبَقِيَ عَتُودٌ مِنْهَا قَالَ ضَحِّ بِهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا أُرَخِّصُهُ لِأَحَدٍ فِيهَا بَعْدُ فَهَذِهِ الزِّيَادَةُ إِذَا كَانَتْ مَحْفُوظَةً كَانَتْ رُخْصَةً لَهُ كَمَا رَخ��َصَ لِأَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ

And regarding that, Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu al-Nadr al-Faqih and Abu Bakr ibn Ja'far al-Muzakki informed me, they said: Abu Abdullah al-Bushanji narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abdullah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, al-Layth ibn Sa'd narrated to us from Yazid ibn Abi Habib from Abu al-Khayr Marthad ibn Abdullah al-Yazani from Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me sheep to distribute as sacrifices among my companions. A young male goat remained from them. He said: "You sacrifice it yourself, and I do not grant this concession to anyone after you." If this addition is preserved, it was a concession for him, just as he granted a concession to Abu Burdah ibn Niyar.
