أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا الْمُسَيِّبِيُّ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَدَنِيَّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا عَمِلَ آدَمِيٌّ مِنْ عَمَلٍ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللهِ مِنْ إِهْرَاقِ دَمٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي قَرْنِهِ بِقُرُونِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا وَأَظْلَافِهَا وَإِنَّ الدَّمَ لَيَقَعُ مِنَ اللهِ بِمَكَانٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقَعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَطِيبُوا بِهَا نَفْسًا قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِيمَا حَكَى أَبُو عِيسَى عَنْهُ هُوَ حَدِيثٌ مُرْسَلٌ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى مِنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ أَحْمَدُ

Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani narrated to us, al-Musayyabi - meaning Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Madani - narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Nafi' narrated to me from Abu al-Muthanna Sulayman ibn Yazid, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No human deed done on the Day of Sacrifice is more beloved to Allah than shedding blood. It will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns, its hair, and its hooves. And the blood reaches a position with Allah before it falls on the ground, so be content with it." Al-Bukhari said, as reported by Abu Isa from him: This is a mursal hadith; Abu al-Muthanna did not hear from Hisham ibn Urwah. Shaykh Ahmad said.
