Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no contagion, no safar (superstition about the month of Safar), and no hama (pre-Islamic belief about owls). A bedouin said: O Messenger of Allah, what about camels in the sand that are healthy like deer, then a mangy camel mixes with them and they all get mange? He said: Then who infected the first one?
