أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنَزِيُّ إِمْلَاءً ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ السَّاعِدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ؓ قَالَ سَافَرْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى تَبُوكَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فِيهِ وَأَهْدَى مَلِكُ الَأَيْلَةِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَغْلَةً بَيْضَاءَ فَكَسَاهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بُرْدَةً وَكَتَبَ لَهُ بِبَحْرِهِمْ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu al-Hasan Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-'Anazi narrated to us by dictation, 'Uthman ibn Sa'id al-Darimi narrated to us, Sahl ibn Bakkar narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us from 'Amr ibn Yahya al-Ansari, from al-'Abbas al-Sa'idi, from Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I traveled with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to Tabuk — and he mentioned the hadith — and said in it: The king of Aylah gifted the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) a white mule. The Prophet (peace be upon him) gave him a cloak (burdah) and wrote for him (a guarantee) regarding their sea (i.e., their maritime territory). And he mentioned the hadith.
