أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ بِلَالٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ؓ عَلَى الْعُشُورِ فَقُلْتُ تَبْعَثُنِي عَلَى الْعُشُورِ مِنْ بَيْنِ غِلْمَتِكَ؟ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَرْضَى أَنْ أَجْعَلَكَ عَلَى مَا جَعَلَنِي عَلَيْهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ آخُذَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ رُبْعَ الْعُشْرِ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ وَمِمَّنْ لَا ذِمَّةَ لَهُ الْعُشْرَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Tahir al-Faqih informed us, Abu Hamid Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Bilal narrated to us, Yahya ibn al-Rabi' al-Makki narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Hisham, from Anas ibn Sirin, who said: Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) appointed me over the tithes collection. I said: "You appoint me over the tithes from among your servants?" He said: "Are you not pleased that I assign you to what 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) assigned me? He commanded me to collect from the Muslims a quarter of a tenth, from the people of the covenant (dhimmah) half of a tenth, and from those who have no covenant the full tenth."
