وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ سَأَلَهُ مَا فِي أَمْوَالِ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ الْعَفْوُ يَعْنِي الْفَضْلَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'id informed us, Abu al-'Abbas narrated to us, al-Hasan narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us from Ma'mar, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that Ibrahim asked him: "What is due from the wealth of the people of the covenant (dhimmah)?" Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The surplus (al-'afw) — meaning what is beyond their need."
