أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ؓ أَنَّ أُمَّ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتَ الْبَرَاءِ وَهِيَ أُمُّ حَارِثَةَ بِنْتُ سُرَاقَةَ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَلَا تُخْبِرُنِي عَنْ حَارِثَةَ؟ وَكَانَ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَصَابَهُ سَهْمٌ غَرْبٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ صَبَرْتُ وَإِنْ كَانَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ اجْتَهَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْبُكَاءَ قَالَ يَا أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ إِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ ابْنَكِ أَصَابَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ قَتَادَةُ الْفِرْدَوْسُ رَبْوَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَأَوْسَطُهَا وَأَفْضَلُهَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Ibrahim al-Shafi'i, from Ishaq ibn al-Hasan ibn Maymun, from Husayn ibn Muhammad, from Shayban, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), that Umm al-Rubayyi' bint al-Bara' — she is Umm Harithah bint Suraqah — came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Prophet of Allah, will you not tell me about Harithah? He was killed on the day of Badr, struck by a stray arrow. If he is in Paradise, I will be patient; if it is otherwise, I will weep profusely for him. He said: O Umm Harithah, there are indeed gardens within Paradise, and your son has attained the highest Firdaws. Qatadah said: Al-Firdaws is a hill in Paradise, its center and its best part.
