أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا} [النحل 67] قَالَ السَّكَرُ مَا حُرِّمَ مِنْ ثَمَرَتِهَا وَالرِّزْقُ الْحَسَنُ مَا حَلَّ مِنْ ثَمَرَتِهَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrations about the repentance of the highway robber — if he repents before being captured, the hadd is waived. The verse states: "Except those who repent before you have power over them — know that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful" (al-Ma'idah 5:34). This exception encourages criminals to surrender and reform.
