أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ثنا سَعْدَانُ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ تَلَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَعْنِي آيَةً ذَكَرَ فِيهَا الْخَمْرَ قَالَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ أَبُو وَهْبٍ الْجَيْشَانِيُّ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْمِزْرِ قَالَ وَمَا الْمِزْرُ؟ قَالَ شَيْءٌ يُصْنَعُ مِنَ الْحَبِّ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ هَكَذَا جَاءَ مُرْسَلًا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrations about the Prophet's emphasis on avoiding the application of hudud wherever possible. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Ward off the hudud from the Muslims as much as you can. If there is a way out for the accused, let him go, for it is better for the imam to err in pardoning than to err in punishing."
