Salamah b. al-Akwaʿ > Abīh ؓ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ نا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ ح وَأنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ نا عَبَّاسٌ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ هُوَ ابْنُ الْفَضْلِ نا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ نا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ نا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ أَبْصَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِشْرَ بْنَ رَاعِي الْعِيرِ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ قَالَ كُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ قَالَ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ قَالَ لَا اسْتَطَعْتَ قَالَ فَمَا وَصَلَتْ يَدُهُ إِلَى فِيهِ بَعْدُ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ السُّلَمِيِّ فَمَا وَصَلَتْ يَمِينُهُ وَقَالَ بُسْرٌ بِضَمِّ الْبَاءِ وَبِالسِّينِ غَيْرِ مُعْجَمَةٍ وَالصَّحِيحُ بِشْرٌ بِخَفْضِ الْبَاءِ وَبِالشِّينِ الْمُعْجَمَةِ هَكَذَا ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ مَنْدَهٍ وَغَيْرُهُ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami and Ali bin Ahmad bin Abdan informed us... from Iyas bin Salamah bin al-Akwa', from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw Bishr bin Ra'i al-Ir eating with his left hand. He said: Eat with your right hand. He said: I cannot. He said: May you never be able to! His hand never reached his mouth again. In the narration of al-Sulami: His right hand never reached... The Shaykh said: It is said Busr with a damma on the ba' and an unmarked sin, but the correct form is Bishr with a kasra on the ba' and a dotted shin. This is how Ibn Mandah and other hadith masters mentioned it. And Allah knows best.
