أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَشَيْبَانُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ أَمَّا قَوْلُكَ الَّذِي سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْهُ أَشَهِدَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ بَدْرًا؟ فَإِنَّهُ شُغِلَ بِابْنَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِسَهْمِهِ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Umar said to a man who asked him: 'As for what you asked me about - did Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) witness Badr?' (He then narrated the story of Uthman's absence from Badr and how the Prophet counted him among its people).
