أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ أَبِي عِصْمَةَ ثنا أَبُو طَالِبٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ يَقُولُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ مَا رَوَى عَنِ الشَّامِيِّينَ صَحِيحٌ وَمَا رَوَى عَنْ أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ فَلَيْسَ بِصَحِيحٍ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَجَمَاعَةٌ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ إِنَّمَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Sa'd al-Malini informed us with his chain: Abu Talib Ahmad ibn Humayd said: I heard Ahmad ibn Hanbal say: 'What Isma'il ibn Ayyash narrated from the Syrians is sound, and what he narrated from the Hijazis is not sound.' The shaykh said: This is what al-Bukhari and a group of hadith scholars also stated. This hadith was narrated from Syrian narrators.
