أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى أنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أنا عَاصِمٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ جَدٍّ وَرِثَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ مَاتَ ابْنُ فُلَانِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَأَرَادَ عُمَرُ أَنَ يَأْخُذَ الْمَالَ دُونَ إِخْوَتِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَلِيٌّ وَزَيْدٌ ؓ لَيْسَ لَكَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لَوْلَا أَنَّ رَأْيَكُمَا اجْتَمَعَ لَمْ أَرَ أَنْ يَكُونَ ابْنِي وَلَا أَكُونَ أَبَاهُ هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ الشَّعْبِيُّ لَمْ يُدْرِكْ أَيَّامَ عُمَرَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ مُرْسَلٌ جَيِّدٌ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Ali the hafiz informed us: Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Abdullah al-Asbahani narrated to us: Isma'il ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith al-Qattan narrated to us: al-Hasan ibn Isa narrated to us: Ibn al-Mubarak informed us: Asim narrated from al-Sha'bi: The first grandfather to inherit in Islam was Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). A grandson of Umar died, and Umar wanted to take all the wealth excluding the siblings. Ali and Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them) told him: 'That is not your right.' Umar said: 'Had your opinions not agreed, I would not have considered that he could be my son without me being his father.' This is mursal - al-Sha'bi did not live during Umar's time, but it is a sound mursal report.
