أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ثنا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ثنا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الْيَعْمُرِيِّ قَالَ خَطَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فِيهِ مَا أَغْلَظَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْ مَا نَازَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي شَيْءٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ آيَةِ الْكَلَالَةِ حَتَّى ضَرَبَ صَدْرِي وَقَالَ يَكْفِيكَ مِنْهَا آيَةُ الصَّيْفِ الَّتِي أُنْزِلَتْ فِي آخِرِ سُورَةِ النِّسَاءِ {يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلَالَةِ} [النساء 176] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ وَسَأَقْضِي فِيهَا بِقَضَاءٍ يَعْلَمُهُ مَنْ يَقْرَأُ وَمَنْ لَا يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ مَا خَلَا الْأَبَ كَذَا أَحْسَبُ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Amr ibn Abi Ja'far informed me: Hamid ibn Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb narrated to us: Zuhayr ibn Harb Abu Khaythamah narrated to us: Shababah ibn Sawwar narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated from Qatadah from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah al-Ya'muri who said: Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) gave a sermon in which he said: Nothing did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) speak more firmly to me about, or nothing did I press the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) more about, than the verse of kalalah, until he struck my chest and said: The verse of summer that was revealed at the end of Surah al-Nisa suffices you - 'They ask you for a ruling. Say: Allah gives you a ruling concerning kalalah' [4:176] to the end of the verse. And I will judge regarding it with a judgment that anyone who reads and anyone who does not read can understand - it is everyone other than the father, I believe.
