أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَلِيمٍ أنا أَبُو الُمُوَجِّهِ أنا عَبْدَانُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَا الْمَمْلُوكُونَ وَأَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْأَمْوَاتِ قَالَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَحْجُبُونَ وَلَا يَرِثُونَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: al-Hasan ibn Halim informed us: Abu al-Muwajjih informed us: Abdan informed us: My father informed me from Shu'bah from al-Mughirah from al-Sha'bi from Ali and Zayd ibn Thabit who said: The enslaved and the People of the Book are like the dead - meaning they do not block inheritance and do not inherit. And Abdullah said: They block but do not inherit.
