Sulayman ibn Dawud, who is Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi, told us: Hammam told us, from Qatadah, from al-Nadr ibn Anas, from Bashir ibn Nahik, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Locusts of gold were sent down upon Ayyub, and he began gathering them up. It was said, 'Did I not make you rich enough, O Ayyub?' He said, 'Yes, my Lord, but who can ever have enough of Your mercy?'" or he said, "'of Your bounty?'"
