Muhammad ibn Abi 'Adi told us, from Sulayman, from Abu al-Salil, from Abu Hassan, who said: Two sons of mine died, so I said to Abu Hurayrah: "Have you heard a hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that you could relate to us, to console ourselves about our dead?" He said: "Yes: their little ones are the tadpoles of Paradise. One of them meets his father - or he said his parents - and takes hold of the edge of his garment or his hand, just as I take hold of the edge of your garment now, and does not let go of him until Allah admits him and his father into Paradise."
