حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَرُونِي مَا تَرَكْتُكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ كَثْرَةُ سُؤَالِهِمْ وَاخْتِلَافُهُمْ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَلَكِنْ مَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا وَمَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ بِهِ فَأْتُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Surayj told us: Fulayh told us, from Hilal ibn 'Ali, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi 'Amrah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Leave me as I have left you, for those who came before you were destroyed only by their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. So whatever I forbid you, avoid it; and whatever I command you, do of it what you are able."
