حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرُكُمْ إِسْلَامًا أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا إِذَا فَقُهُوا.

Wakee' told us - Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best of you in Islam are those of you with the best character, once they attain understanding of the religion."
